Happy Halloween! This one's blood red, thanks to Rose Bud simple syrup. Give your party guests a fright with this Victorian-inspired, botanical cocktail.
1 ounce Ash Apothecary Rose Bud simple syrup
1.5 ounces pomegranate juice
2 ounces gin
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Salt to rim glass (We used pink Himalayan sea salt, but regular Kosher salt works too.)
Create two small plates, one with a small amount of Rose Bud syrup, and one with salt. Rim a chilled cocktail glass by dipping it in the syrup, then in the salt. Combine syrup, bitters, pomegranate juice, and gin in a shaker. Fill shaker with ice and shake mixture until chilled. Strain into cocktail glass.
